A warm welcome to Rob Rickard, who is the newest member of Woodbridge Tennis Club’s growing coaching team.
Rob will be starting in his new role at the club this month, providing a wide range of coaching to all levels and ages – from private coaching for juniors and adults, to group sessions. He will also be out and about in local schools delivering lessons to budding tennis players in the area.
Alongside being an LTA and PTR (International) qualified tennis coach, Rob is a key part of the club’s men’s 1st and mixed doubles teams.
Rob’s tennis playing has continued throughout his globe-trotting career, which included seven years in Singapore and nine years living and working in South Africa and Sweden. He took his first LTA qualification while at Loughborough University in 1987, more recently refreshing and upgrading his coaching skills by gaining the PTR qualification.
Now settling back into Suffolk life after returning last year, Rob is keen to focus on his passion for tennis and looking forward to the challenge of coaching. He is available for lessons to help all players improve their game and develop their enjoyment of tennis, so get in touch with via email – robrickard67@gmail.com or calling 07484 610892.
